There's a mockingbird outside that's got a car alarm as part of its repertoire, and it's loud. *glares*

Also, I've been mentally composing Harriet Vane/Peter Wimsey fic in my head. I doubt it'll come to anything though since I've no talent for plots, much less a mystery plot.

Opal tried to explain to me the plot of these books yesterday (being too lazy to read them), so I support your fic writing desires.

Maybe they could rescue a cat from a tree.

Maybe the cat could be MURDERED.

Used to have a mockingbird that would come sing outside my window at 3 am, every Spring. He also mocked my car alarm. I was most disappointed to find that How to Kill a Mockingbird was not a how-to manual.

Yes! Middle of the night! And clearly Harper Lee never had to deal with car alarm birds.

Apparently only the males sing, and only until they attract a mate. Unfortunately, I've been unable to locate a mail-order bride service for mockingbirds.

Enjoy the mental manipulation, *vbg* and if feel the urge to write it down, you know where we are xx
