How fleeting are all human passions compared with the massive continuity of ducks.
This is a strange thing to think about, but in these Sayers books I'm reading, everyone drinks coffee/tea/booze by the gallon, but no one ever has to pee. Instead they do things like go out in a boat for hours without getting out. Maybe bladders were bigger back then...
(Also, the title of my post is my all-time favorite quote from any of those books. :D)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Good point.
Now I'm wondering about all sorts of scenes, like when Harriet visits Reggie Pomfret in college and no doubt ends up drinking a lot to make him more endurable. Where would she pee? Down the hall? Or run back to Shrewsbury with a bursting bladder?
But the endless punting trip really boggles the mind.

"My lord, I'm afraid it's once again time..."
"What, so soon? Well, if I must."
Also, I've decided that Bunter and Peter could totally sing this:

Still SO amused that Bunter went on the honeymoon with them. XD

Also, he (Bunter) seemed to pretty much view it as Lord-Peter-and-Bunter's honeymoon. XD
