Leverage, baby.

I finally had a chance to watch Leverage. (I actually taped it. On my VCR. I'd forgotten what those things are for other than changing the channel.)

Okay, this will probably go down as one of my favorite episodes ever! XD It's an episode I wish I could introduce people to the show with, but it's not half as funny if you don't already know all the characters.

The concept was a good one -- taking from Kurosawa's Rashômon -- and I liked how random people morphed into team characters depending on who was telling the story.

The best bit though? The War of the Accents. XD Poor Sophie. "Americans think accents all sound the same!" and finally "I hate you all!" cracked me up so much.

The whole BP bit at the end was a bit too anvil-y, but they made up for it by racing to go steal the dagger, with Nate following.

*LOVES*

I agree. This was an awesome episode of Leverage - and I'd accurately predicted from the beginning that the blonde waitress was Parker.

And yes, just a touch Tony Hayward and "the little people" too much at the end. Loved the episode though, as I was laughing the whole way through.

When Sophie ran into the "doctor", I was all "Hmm...that's usually Eliot's character!" but didn't really think about until we got to Eliot's version of the story. At that point, I picked up on both Hardison and Parker.

BUT BRILLIANCE! So much fun and hilarity.

I looooved this episode. It was funny! And I loved how everyone was trying to out-do each other. I wondered how they were going to handle people not recognizing each other later on, but then they just had them not recognize each other. Heh.
