Fic Grouse
Others do it. Why can't I?
Ug. The fic I'm working on has *always* been like pulling teeth, whereas others have come *so* much easier. That's probably not a good thing, right? The problem with this one is that it really has no point. And I always need some sort of a point. It's a Full Circle episode tag. I guess the point is a snapshot of Sam & Jack's relationship at that time. The small bits I've written I really like (think I've managed to realistically work in a kiss)...but arrrrggg! No point! No cool theme to tie it together. No punchline.
No, don't ask to see it. (*beats certain people back with a stick*) It's so far away from beta-ing it's not even funny.
I guess with the season premiere coming on Friday, I've kind of given myself a deadline. I should probably be scrapping the story but I've got my teeth in it now...or it's got its teeth in me. *sigh*
And now back to your regularly scheduled journaling...
