Movies

Sorry - just haven't been in a chatty mood the last couple of days and I'm feeling that trend may continue. I keep feeling this pesky need to get out of the house. Rented a couple of movies but I'll cut comments since someone in the world may not have seen these yet.

But first, you guys may have already seen this (it's probably really old). Hee hee! Harry Potter Synopsis. *snicker*

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

I have never read a Harry Potter book, but I really enjoyed the first movie. The Chamber of Secrets (the movie) I thought was okay. It wasn't bad - just not as good as the first. The first one's charm was its, well, charm - the wonder of seeing everything for the first time. The did give us some new stuff to look at, which was great, but by the end I was thinking, well, that was pretty much the same basic plot at the first: Harry escapes from brutal caretakers and heads off to Hogwarts. There he, Ron & Hermione spend the school year researching some bad thing. Meanwhile there's an exciting quidditch match where Harry ends up with the snitch. A red herring is thrown in for good measure. In the end, Harry alone must fight off, and seemingly defeats Voldemort.

But hey - the diary was really, really creepy.

Star Trek Nemesis

Oooo - clones. Scary. Well, scary in the "not really" kinda way. The wedding scene made me cringe, but Data's "antics" on the show always made me cringe.

Cool look at the Romulan Empire.

*Sniff* they killed Data! :( But hey - they have a spare. Convenient that. Which makes me ask - I know that Duplicate Picard spread Duplicate Data all over that planet, but where did he get Duplicate Data in the first place?
