Ugh. Fic collapsing under its own weight. In doing X in the fic, I had to show emotional reactions to X. But I'm getting stuck in a quagmire and have to find my way back out to get to the next section, which is bouncy. I had wanted some things to be open-ended in the fic, but open-ended here will probably weigh the whole thing down. Bleh.

Maybe I just need a nap.
