So apparently semi-amnesia is standard after a regeneration? Was the same with Five. And full-on amnesia with Eight. The only one I'd seen prior, obviously, was from Nine to Ten. And there he seemed *very* with it. Talking to Rose about the time they first met, giving specific details. Then talking about Jackie, very lucidly. And even later, when he'd been woken up in the middle of the process, it wasn't "who are you people?!" Huh.
And speaking of New Who, the Doctor *could* have mentioned *something* about it to Rose, prior to the actual thing. In this ep, some random serviceman wanders in with a, "oh, he's done it again, has he?" to which the Brigadier is like "yes, yes." *snickers*
So...Sarah Jane wasn't living on the TARDIS? She went home to sleep.
*phone rings and the Doctor picks it up* "Yes, of course I'll talk to him. I'll talk to anybody." HA!! Yes, you'll definitely talk to anybody, Doctor. And talk, and talk, and talk. :D
Not really my favorite episode. A bit dull, actually. Of course, I've never really cared for the King Kong story.

Earthshock

Adric – now *that's* "emo."
"Where are we?" "Earth." "Oh, not again!" HA!! And they even manage to get off Earth a good portion of the time! *eyes New Who PTB*
*smacks the crap out of Adric*
"Ewww. I got Snyder on my shoe!"
CYBERMEN! I actually had no idea this was a Cybermen episode going in. Hmm. Gonna have to eventually get to the backstory of these Cybermen. The Cybermen in New Who (which were actually AU!Cybermen) seemed more Dalek-like, only not psychotic.
Woo! TARDIS party!
A space ship where the Red Hat Society is in charge... Yup. They're being brought vodka martinis between bitching out the male underling. Mwah!
*smacks the crap out of Adric...again*
Not sure I've ever heard a bad guy actually use the word "minions" before! *SNORT*
Huh. Cybermen are allergic to gold. Of course, that would have no relation to the AU!Cybermen in New Who.
Not sure why Nyssa kept insisting that everything was fine outside.
Hrm. What happened to the State of Grace inside the TARDIS? I mean, I know it was gone in "The Parting of the Ways," but...was there an episode where it went bye-bye? Or was the State of Grace something that was used in an episode, never to be seen or heard from again?
Ah, that good old "emotions are good" talk.
And a firm handshake before death. Not one of those unmanly lingering handshakes either. No no. But at least Adric got to go out a hero. Sort of. Well, his intentions were good. *pats TARDIS crew*
