Caught up with Lost
Seeing some Lost posts yesterday made me realize I hadn't watched Lost in two weeks. Stupid new time. So I caught up on ABC's website. Yeah, it has commercials, but I like to give them positive reinforcement for providing whole episodes online.
Since I saw both episodes right after each other, I can't *quite* remember where one ended and the other began.
The Jack episode and I just did not get. Oh, not that it was a well-crafted puzzle or anything, but are there *seriously* people in the world that are that possessive about tattoos? Who knows, I may be quite sheltered. And the ending with Jack's tattoo saying "stranger who walks among us" - when that one lady (who *totally* reminds me of Nurse Ratched from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) told Jack the words, Jack said something like, "that's what it says, but not what it means."
Uh...
What other way could that possibly mean? I think they were going for 2 layers of deep with this whole tattoo thing, but I was bobbing on the surface. Bob bob bob.
Also? It would not surprise me in the least if this whole Juliet thing was still a total scam. Even the part about her almost being executed. Sure she shot someone, but they would have realized it was because she was carrying out Ben's orders. But these people are *completely* into mind games and they need a new surgeon since apparently Ethan was their former one. And if Jack's tied to Juliet, with his obsessively destructive need to save people, they could keep him around for quite a while.
The Hurley episode was a whole lot of fun, though. It was really nice to see something light since everything's been so gloomy lately. Actually, it's probably the only episode of this season I'd watch again. And with the minivan, I *instantly* thought of a Futurama episode, which had a minivan bus that I even think was that color blue! :D
"Hey, Mister? Mind if I take this old van?"
"Sure. You wanna dump the corpses out of theres, it's yourses."
"Yeah, yeah, I've gotten used cars before."
But on a final note, I DO NOT CARE WHO KATE ENDS UP WITH. FOR REAL.
