Meglos (Four, Romana, K-9)

BARBARA! :D Took me until about the first half of the first part to place her. I kept thinking she looked familiar.
Heh. Amusing moment when this disembodied voice turned out to be coming from the cactus. "That's right! I'm a plant, baby! BOO!"
And apparently this plant, sorry, Meglos has the ability to use time to his advantage, trapping the Doctor and Romana in a time fold. Plants are CRAFTY.
For some reason I really like seeing the Doctor meeting someone he already knows. No, he doesn't have ties to people, but he *does* have a past. Unrelated, I also find it amusing when he plows ahead until someone does an "other way, Doctor!"
I rather liked that a character was questioning their total dependence on an object they really knew nothing about. A bit too late, but still. Yay for reason!
HA! "Here, hold up this wall" actually worked. :D

Full Circle (Four, Romana, K-9, Adric)

You know, I've noticed I head-bob to this new theme intro whenever it's on. I'm a DORK. But I still think the floating heads are weird. So glad they dropped that in New Who. Could you picture the disembodied face of a manic David Tennant coming at you? Ye gods! Anyway...
Romana's room! Very 70s modern. And white. Love seeing other rooms in the TARDIS.
Nice reference to the Doctor getting smacked down by the Time Lords back with his exile to Earth.
Hmm. From what I'd heard, I guess I wasn't expecting the Doctor to be so "right then, off you go" about Romana going back to Gallifrey. She was a bit upset, but he wasn't. She was moping in her room while the Doctor was yelling from down the hall, "Come on! Gallifrey!" He didn't even seem to be faking it. But maybe all that comes later.
Hi, Adric! Poor kid never stood a chance with the audience. Not when one of his first lines was,"of *course* I'm better than you!"
Ah, so this episode is Creature from the Black Lagoon. Heh heh. And a cross between BSG with a colony of people trying to find a new home. Nice little twist at the end though.
I'm a bit confused as to what "E Space" is really supposed to be. It *seems* like it's just another parallel world...

Little punk-ass teenagers stole the TARDIS! And as they all come out, "what is this, Noah's ark?" Heh heh.
The Doctor mentioned that the TARDIS can't do short hops, which I've heard in Classic Who before. Wonder when that changed. And also, since I'm thinking about differences, wonder when the whole TARDIS translating all languages changed too.
Ooooh. Doctor of Rage! Pretty rare with laid-back Four, but he does it so well.
Oh, Adric. Something tells me the Doctor's not going to be pleased you decided to stowaway on the TARDIS. But since you apparently evolved from a spider, you probably had the natural urge to skitter into a dark corner and hide.
