So, the planets aligned.

  • STOP USING LINES AND ELEMENTS FROM S1 AND S2 EPS. *ahem* Okay, got that out of my system for this week. Tune in next week.

  • Kinda nice seeing poverty as an issue on Doctor Who. Well, "nice" isn't the right word. Usually in Who it's other kinds of issues. Or it's normally not this up close and personal.

  • Oh, the American accents. *PINCHES CHEEKS* ETA: [livejournal.com profile] butterfly's telling me that the main supporting cast were played by Americans. Hrm. Must have been the different *kinds* of accents they were trying to pull off then.

  • HELLO. The Dalek said its planet was destroyed in the war. But...didn't Seven destroy it back with the Hand of Omega? Of course, maybe the Daleks consider *that* as part of the war. Wouldn't surprise me if that's what set off the Time War. ETA: Actually, it would make a whole *lot* of sense if that's what set off the Time War. A Time Lord just blew up their planet! You think they'd sit on their metal bumps after that?

  • Soooo...I can't really get anything from Tallulah's speech about her boyfriend leaving the single rose every day as a sign and keeping hope that she'll find him again, right? Where she talks about how her heart is breaking but the show must go on. *GOES MAD*

  • *laughs at the comment about musical theater and *that's* why the Doctor isn't into Martha* And somewhere Jack perks up, knowing something very good was said somewhere in the universe.

  • "No. No no no no no. They survive. They *always* survive when I lose everything." And he looks so bitter when he says that. :( *PETS*

  • HumanDalek! BWAH!! Now, you'd *think* that depth perception (aka two eyes) would be on the list in creating this new warrior-like race.

  • But hmmm. Wonder if this can be related to the Doctor being the last of his kind. Maybe that's why you haven't seen the Doctor going off and shagging the universe in order to make the Children of Gallifrey continue on in whatever form. There's just not this Dalek need to perpetuate the species in a "MUST SURVIVE" way.

  • Overall it was an okay episode. Not horrible but not OMGWATCHRIGHTNOW.
