For those that don't watch Doctor Who, here's a clip from last Saturday's episode. This is the kind of quirky stuff that I just love about the show. :D
Jack things
*they stand in the remodulated console room*
Jack: Is this what I think it is?
Oh Jack, you are AWESOME! :D Yeah, the line was a repeat from Boom Town, but he actually *knows* what these things are! He totally needs to go traveling with the Doctor again.
Also, Jack was still carrying around his TARDIS key? I think he was! At least, that's what I'm assuming. The Doctor monkeyed with three keys - Martha's key, his own key, and I'm thinking Jack still had his. Awwwww! ETA: Oh yeah. There was this, you know, scene where Jack takes his key off his keyring... That I apparently blanked on.
Doctor thing
I watched the episode again last night and the beginning just cracks me up. So here you had this slow and gentle love story between the Doctor and Rose for two series, where sometimes you saw the Doctor still being cautious/flailing/skittish about some things even in S2 - just being really careful about things, basically.
The Master comes along and seems to be, "Hey, baby! *gets married*" :D And then the Doctor's reaction!
"The Master and WIFE??!" [OMGWTF?!!!]
*cracks up* I'm also imagining the Doctor's reaction probably mirrored some ultra-traditionalists, right before they fainted dead away at the Master being married. (And when they woke up, I'm sure spent hours metaing about how the Master and Lucy most certainly never had sex...) *cracks up again*
