Semi-Confession Time (Help Me)

I spent much of yesterday watching BSG S1 (I forgot how much I *love* the relationships between Adama, Lee and Kara - so frickin' much angst), Scrubs S2 (could a show have better music?) and Doctor Who Christmas (again).

Sadly, I'm afraid I'm shipping another pair - not saying who though. No, it's not Lee and Kara. *beats Lee/Kara shippers back with a stick* But I do want the pair in question to OMGLIVEHAPPILYEVERAFTERWITHLOTSOFBABIES. *ahem* And so this shipping will remain firmly in check, much like the whole Jack/Sam SG-1 thing. Sadly, right now all I can think about is baby!fic. I KNOW! I told Jojo about it a while back and I believe her response was "OMFG. Do NOT write baby!fic. Freak." So I need to calm the hell down before I attempt to write anything or it will get ugly. Letter-from-the-president ugly.

But in order to do that (deflect and ignore my own insanity), I like to tease others...

Like how in watching BSG yesterday, I finally realized that Adama had totally replaced Zak with Kara - she has become his replacement child. And so Lee and Kara are pretty much brother and sister. (Hee hee hee!)

And in thinking about Star Wars yesterday, I have decided that Han, Luke and Chewy had total 3-ways. All the time. It got cold down there on Hoth. And Chewy's so furry.

Well, I'm off to figure out what a song was from a Scrubs ep...

I did much the same thing. Six hours of Battlestar. I want to get through everything shown so far. I forgot just how harsh those first episodes were. I thought everyone was going to have a breakdown after the Olympic Carrier was destroyed.

I haven't found any New Year's parties I want to go to so I figure I'll just stay home and have a BSG marathon since my girlfriend is working 3-to-11. Have to stay out of trouble somehow...

Totally! Everyone was so raw during that first season. They really nailed the mood/pacing back then.

Heh heh. I'm a bit under the weather, so I'll probably be snuffling through some sort of DVDs myself.

Whohoo! perfect timing. I'm just watching BSG S1 myself and am so wanting to understand who gave adama the note about there being 12 cylon models. Did I just miss something or do we not know? I just finished Six degrees of separation last night and haven't figured it out yet.
