See, just when I start liking Robin, BAM. He does something so...dipshitty. I started liking him in the cave when Marian was dying, and then he goes and tells her she should stay home with her embroidery. Good thing she was injured or she would have kicked his ass.

And then later he started talking about hating having to always do the right thing. And I was like, finally! He's finally going to get off his high horse and stop pretending he's living in a black-and-white world. I could LIKE this Robin. And...then not only is he horribly cruel to Much - for NO reason - he proceeds to sit on his ass (literally) and does nothing (he probably peed) until Much runs in actually doing something.

*SHAKES*

I'm becoming less enamored of Guy though. He *could* have redeemed himself a few times, but kept lying right up until the end. Which is sad because they've set him up as a completely sympathetic character, in spite of the evil - the little things, like no family, or Marian telling him what to do because he's never been to a wedding before, or Marian talking about him being denied love his whole life. SYMPATHETIC. But then it just kinda goes nowhere.

There was some pretty in the finale though:

See? Pretty.

And then the pretty was negated by the ending. MWAH. They had an air-punch freeze-frame ending!!! Looooooooook!!

That's right Merry Men - you just strung up the Sheriff by his shoe, but not before half the nobles were killed in the Sheriff's plot. And oh, by the way, Marian and Edward are still in the castle. So Marian having just humiliated Sir Guy and Edward having been the leader of the plot to out the Sheriff, they should be safe in the castle with the Sheriff, right? So you go right ahead and air-punch, you bunch of loons.
