I was reminded that I never actually updated about the evacuee situation. Last night I got to sleep in my own bed! \o/
I'm still feeling totally drained, which is strange since I got a nearly full night of sleep last night. Nearly. There was one time when I woke from a dead sleep to the sound of some people talking outside for about 30 seconds. It made me leap up and run to the computer to check the San Diego County Emergency website for fire info. PTSD? NAAAAAAH.
On this weekend's agenda: sleep, sleep and more sleep. And lunch with the parents. Which fits the "FOR GOD'S SAKE, DO NOT BREATHE THE AIR!!" mandate for the next 10 days or so.
Some newsperson was saying last night, "it's the air you can't see that's more dangerous." I don't know. I'm thinking if I see a big chunk of air coming at me, that's gotta be bad.
