I know I can identify with the mentality of, "if I can get others to watch and like the same thing, then I won't be the only geek." I was a bit too young for seeing Star Wars in the theater on 5/25/77 (well, I could have seen it but was too young to notice or care about Star Wars), but can completely relate to the whole sci-fi nerd thing. As if there was any doubt. :D

Of course, I may see it for this scene alone. HA!

OMFG

I HAVE to see this movie. I remember seeing the previews for Star Wars and just waiting till it made it to my small town. I didn't see it till JULY of '77.

Even though I was long gone from high school at the time it nevertheless made me think differently about movies.

While I didn't make it for Star Wars or Empire Strikes Back, I did see Return of the Jedi on opening weekend. (By that time I had seen Star Wars and Empire on video.) But I remember thinking it was the BESTTHINGEVER. :D

This movie looks simultaneously geeky and sweet. Hope it's good.
