Ooooh, I really liked this episode. This is one of those rare stories when people realize they can do more with science fiction than just having a monster-of-the-week. What is death? What is life? What is the point to it all? It pushes that comfort zone on the subject in a way that isn't exactly new, but new enough. Plus I think we got the most insight into the characters in this episode than any other episode so far, based on how they all reacted/dealt with Suzie.
Other little things -
"Retcon" drug? HA!! Don't remember if they called it that back when Gwen took it, but I'm amused.
The stopwatch thing at the end? Wow, that was a bit lame. Ah, Torchwood. Don't ever change your ridiculousness.
