In other news, I have successfully addicted my brother to Doctor Who. He just called after having watched the first two episodes. HA!

pfft! Last summer we had several nights of 11pm and 30 degrees out - and we HAD no aircon!

nope. had the fan on high - no sheets or clothes (TMI? tuff ;D) and got about 2 hours sleep.

It's been pushing 80 with a heat index pushing 90 at 6:15 AM (when I get up for work) here all summer. We had several WEEKS with highs pushing 100 and heat index of 115. It's utterly absurd. I'm Southern born and raised, I don't mind heat, but its ridiculous even for me.

Oh EW. It's been getting into the 100s here too, but at least it cools down *slightly* at night. Although last night my place never got below 79. Ugh.
