Odd computer question
May. 20th, 2003 05:46 pmI have a strange thing with the computer at work. The dialup internet connection "times out" (for lack of a better word). It will go full force for about five minutes and then, no matter what I'm doing whether it's downloading something or loading a page, it will just stop. Nothing coming or going for about a minute. Then it starts back up again.
I use my work and my personal ISP (depending on what I'm doing) on that computer. The "time outs" happen with both ISPs. I have no problems with my personal ISP when I use it at home.
Do I have something set weird on the modem? It really bugs the crap out of me.
Well, I'm off to go watch the season finales of Gilmore Girls and 24 with some friends! :)
