  1. Tired. Is it the 3-day weekend yet? How about now?

  2. Mysterious message to SG-1 types: HEE!!

  3. Not so mysterious message to DW types: I demand that Donna keep a Myspace page. And that it be full of cracky badness. (My MST3K roots go far too deep.)

  4. I've noticed this more and more lately when I go to grocery stores: women leaving their purses in their shopping carts while they wander off to look at something, backs completely turned. ARE YOU INSANE?? Of course, considering that these are generally the same people who go barrelling down the road in their SUVs, yapping on their cell phones and taking down random pedestrians, I've decided not to care as much if their purses get stolen due to stupidity. /rant

  5. I was looking at some SG-1-related stuff this morning, and some "to squee or not to squee" discussion. There's probably a big huge blathery thing I could write up, but it pretty much boils down to me hoping that no one ever feels like they can't squee about something, just because we don't see eye-to-eye about it. I kinda doubt that's the case with me (or hope, maybe), since while I'll get into a discussion/debate from time-to-time, I'm not the type to go pouncing in to tell someone how they're WRONG. And I never feel like someone's opposing opinion invalidates my own ideas about things, so I guess I just don't feel threatened or something.

You could probably call me a fandom pluralist - I've definitely got my own ideas about things that probably won't change, and I'm fine with people having completely different ideas about those same things. Oh, that doesn't mean I'll agree - sometimes I'll disagree strongly, even - but I'm not going to come storming in with a "NO! Bad fanperson! REPENT!"

    Oy. I blathered anyway.
