  • Where have you been all my life, Dry Soda? Curently drinking the Vanilla Bean soda, and it's absolutely the perfect level of sweet for me. In other words, hardly at all. But yet there's no artificial sweetners! FINALLY.

  • Trader Joe's Unexpected Cheddar. Yummy aged crumbly cheddar! (Was picked up yesterday afternoon in a quest for English food to eat with Sherlock Holmes 2. THIS MAKES SENSE. And Cheddar is sort of English. THIS ALSO MAKES SENSE.)

  • Ponzu Sauce! Yeah, it's been around forever, but I've sort of shied away since I'm not wild about soy sauce on its own. But I had it on some salmon yesterday, and YUM. I MUST FIND SOME OF MY OWN. (Said salmon was at lunch and not at the English-fest dinner, which consisted of cheddar and a curry dish. SENSE.)

  • All this food talk and I sort of was wondering what they'd eat at Watson's wedding.

"The wedding breakfast is composed of stewed oysters, galantines, mayonnaise of fowl, cold game, ices, pyramids, and all the knickknackeries of confectionery." ~ Some Book of Victorian Stuff.

They were really into mushing up meat and covering it in slime, weren't they? You...you all don't do that anymore, do you? I would think I would have heard about it if everyone in the UK was eating jellied meat on a regular basis. Just checking though.
