Survived a trip to Boston.
Things are kind of blurry, so I may have missed something.
Day 1 – Fly all day across country. Lug enormous suitcase on T. Get off at the one stop where there's no elevator. Greet wieneranimals at hotel with a firm handshake and a quick lick which seems to mildly freak out Julie. 1st attempt to install DVD player to hotel TV by use of a bunny and a string from the sewing kit. Fail.
Day 2 – Wander through Harvard. Honor the memory of John Harvard by placing stuffed wienerdog at feet of his statue and taking a picture. Dragged into first store of trip. Poke at shoes. Buy attachment for DVD player, but it still won't work. Visit nanda's hamster who likes to lick his balls. See March of the Penguins and attempt to ignore squeals/open weeping next to me. Eat really good pizza.
Day 3 – Twiddle thumbs while the Yak gets lost in Cambridge. After Yak gets unlost, go to aquarium and see live penguins. Attempt to ignore squeals/open weeping next to me. Go to really good restaurant for dinner as part of the nandabration. Have a little wine. Successful nandabration concludes with a waiter showering bubbles on nanda's boobs and then instructing her to blow a frog. Also, she had a tiara. Ignore non-working DVD player.
Day 4 – Another nanda hamster visiting day! Use computer to amuse selves. Witness Jojo eating a corn dog. Experience fullfillment in life. Eat gum given to me by Julie and curse her name. Fiddle with DVD player.
Day 5 – Wander around at fancy mall and other snifty places downtown. Briefly lose Karen but find her under nanda. Buy wienerdog glass at fancy store. Ride a swan boat. Sadly, do not collide with any ducks. Get DVD player to work. Huzzah!
Day 6 – Drag Karen and Jojo along on the Freedom Trail, but lose them early on at a store when they stop to take pictures with the shoes. Buy Lost DVDs (*flails*).
Day 7 – Karen, Jojo and I pretend to be sad as we part ways – they to the mall and me to the MIT museum. Have faboo time at museum where I get to poke at things. (One piece of art even dripped oil! WHEEE!) Make the mistake of deciding to walk back to hotel in Boston. Get sunburn and very big blisters.
Day 8 – Spend day at the airport and watch Lost with Jojo. Decide it's not *too* weird to watch further episodes on the plane, considering it's a show about a massive plane crash.
