Fic Recs?

Has anyone seen any good, long DW fics about the 9th doctor? I don't care about pairings. Really. Really, really. I just finished a DW book that [livejournal.com profile] sesaworuban left when she was out here and in the mood to read something else with a plot.

Unrelated - [livejournal.com profile] josephides is the coolest person on the entire planet. Don't even try and dispute this fact.

Well, these are the same guys that moved her out of her office into another one 6 miles away, then told her her job would end last June and to 'look for another job' because they wanted to promote other programs that were losing them money. Then the Board of Trustees of the college went "Um. Guys? This program that costs us $40,000 a year has brought in half a million dollars over the last five years where the programs you're wanting to redirect this very small amount of money are losing about $4,000 a student. PER YEAR."

Anyway, her MAIN boss (not just her next level boss.. he's a sweetie!) was making threatening noises again, and mom was just all "Oh, I don't THINK so. I have nothing to lose because you've made it clear this is SO my last year - but I'll be having a chat with the Board President again, thank you - so I can tell you to shut up and let me do my job, and if you screw with my student base again, I'm turning everything over that I've got on this college over to the newspapers and the police. So BACK OFF."

My mommy rules.

Wow. Can I have your mommy? My mommy's okay, but she let my dad walk all over her for almost 20 years and HE was the one who asked for the divorce. My mom taught me what *not* to be, which is sad but important.
