I've never really been into the slash scene, but I found these posts interesting. Here and here. Well, the second post really has nothing to do with slash, but rather using the "I have a gay friend" thing to win an argument. This is one of those topics where I don't say or comment much about since I don't feel I have any insight, and so on. But I can recognize an intelligent essay when I see it.
In other news, I'm feeling a bit meh today. I tried to read a fic that was rec'd to me, but I just didn't feel like reading. You know it's bad when I'm more interested in trying to find out if those dishwashing cubes work better than liquid. And, you know, read reviews about them. On multiple sites. This is just sad.
