I've run out of Sherlock stuff to read. Hmph. But one thing that I'm finding fun about Sherlock and the Sherlock/John pairing is that I seriously don't care about meta or expounding on why they're meant for each other. I have no desire to claim that John needs to love Sherlock because Sherlock deserves love, or get angry at John for going off with Sarah because how dare he. Nor will I attempt to handwave any potential Sherlock/Irene stuff. (However I am bracing myself since Moffat's the one that's writing her, and his writing often is extremely problematic when it comes to women characters. Seriously, I'm cringing at the thought of how Irene is going to be played.)
But anyhoo, while I'm absolutely smitten (for the moment) with Sherlock stuff, I'm not feeling the emotional attachment like I have with other fandoms like Doctor Who or SG-1. Where I both fear and crave spoilers because OMG WHAT WILL THEY BE DOING TO MY BELOVED CHARACTERS NEXT?? Kind of nice for a change, although I wouldn't mind getting that emotionally attached to a show again. That's always fun. :)

I love how much bed fic there is in this fandom! And it seems like every time they go out of town, they're forced to share a bed. I'm starting to think it's a British thing, instead of just a slash thing. "Hmmm. Maybe people just have to share beds over there or something. And no one blinks an eye because it's just expected." XD
Also, I'm amused at how Sherlock usually turns into an octopus when he's sleeping, glomming onto poor John who's trying to cling to his rapidly fleeing heterosexuality. :D
It is a weird kink to be so popular in a fandom where one of the main characters frequently doesn't sleep! Not now but they did have to in, say, Dicken's day.
I think it's because Benedict Cumberbatch is so deliciously long. He'd have to octopus in order to get all his limbs in the one bed ;D That being said, I'm only a wee thing (well, average height for a Scottish woman) and I would still glom Martin given half a chance ;D
Lol :D I've recently become convinced that my heaven is just a massive house filled with all the hot men I want to cuddle and I just go round them all day and have a bit of a chat and a bit of a cuddle. Martin, Ben and David are all definitely in the house :D
