So apparently there is a battle of the Time Lords!!! in this year's TV Choice Awards. Oh, and some other people too. So who should take the prize for Best Actor? (Given my flist, I have a suspicion who will be in the lead. :D)

Even my husband, who highly prefers Eleven to Ten, thinks that Tennant should win because he was so good in Single Father.

Aw poor Matt Smith. If he was just up against those other two, I'd totally be pulling for him. However, whilst Single Father was actually sort of enraging as a drama, Tennant was flawless in it (actually everyone was, even the kids).

Poor Matt Smith indeed. I think I've said about a billion times that I like him as an actor, I just think he hasn't been given that much of a range of material to work with, at least on Doctor Who.

I have never read one of his recaps, only the excerpts people have sent to me, but even if I can sympathize with generally preferring RTD-era to Moffat-era and taking a BBC family show way too seriously, his reacps were... something else.

He started out incoherent, which was bad enough, but combine that with frothing rage and his Moffat era ones were a complete mess.
