I've never paid attention to kink memes before, so poking around through the Sherlock kink meme has been, well,


Donna would be all over a kink meme, as long as it didn't involve the Doctor. (She might try to fill a prompt involving him just for laughs, but she'd wind up squicking herself out.) XD

There are a few gems (Lobster Knife Fight), but more things like fics where Sherlock is a vampire. (Not too far of a stretch, when you think about it. He can be emo enough for it.) But really, there should be more Holmes family hilarity!

Oh AWESOME!

So far I've been fairly impressed with the writing in this fandom. It may not be something I want to read like...furry vampire BDSM, but the quality of writing is usually there. (Or maybe I've been not reading fics for so long that the quality of writing has gone up everywhere.) Some fics I've been amazed that they're posted anonymously, only to be found in the wilds of the kink meme.

Oh god, I spent so much time in the fic meme last year (and early this year). In fact, I even wrote a fill which, since I write one story every few year, was impressive for me.

There was some great stuff posted there and I had a couple of prompts filled, too, which was nice. But, yeah, there was also some wild stuff going down.

Aww, thank you! It's strange how I normally have trouble stringing two words together but I was totally inspired by that prompt and ended up writing it in about two days!

I keep meaning to post it properly to the Sherlock comm but I've never gotten round to it. I may have to, though, before the second series airs!

You know it's bad when you see someone asking for recs on a particular topic, and when people comment with selections it's like "Read that, read that, read that, read that, even though you couldn't think of the title I know which one you mean and I've read it..." XD
