I understand the logic of that and the 'better than nothing' sort of deal, but I can't help but think, "Yeah, like that will help if a tornado tries to suck you up."
*represses urge to giggle* It's only a watch. I've had watches that lasted all day and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.
And plus, the odds of there being more than a waterspout or an F1 in a location that rarely if ever receives tornadoes or the threat of tornadoes is so miniscule on top of the already teensy chance of one even happening...

Yeah, it's not unheard of up here... But, these caused actual damage! That's just not right. OK, my California roots are showing. Weather is what happens to those crazies everywhere else, not to us.
