Like I've learned about TVD through osmosis, now I'm learning about Gossip Girl. And since the finale is next week (?), people are freaking out.

Like Elena with TVD, GG is all about WHO WILL BLAIR BE WITH? Her choices are Chuck and Dan (sounds like a title for a bad Adam Sandler movie).

Chuck is super rich, I think. He also talks like Batman 24/7. Also he once sold Blair? For a hotel? (Hopfully not a Motel 6.) Sounds like a douche move for the love of your life to do, but then again I'm not super rich. Might have been a compliment.
Dan is the poor one. And by poor, I mean slightly less rich. Apparently he enables Blair to be a spoiled rich girl? Not 100% on that, but it hardly matters since he's THE POOR ONE. Also it seems that in the books he was bisexual. Again, not that it matters much since Poor.

Blair also was briefly married to a prince, something I tried understanding once. My brain completely rejected the information, so everything's a bit sketchy. Anyway it's moot since he's out of the picture, I think.

So.

My predictions for the finale. And I have to thank Tumblr for much of this information since I can now speculate.

Chuck enters a program for Being An Abusive Boyfriend ^{TM Tumblr}. I imagine things will be covered like not selling your girlfriend, but Tumblr believes he has many more issues to work on like being ugly.
Dan will work on becoming Not Poor.
Blair will realize she's been trying to decide between a girlfriend seller and someone who's Poor, and nuts to that! She'll take a summer break but then for some mysterious reason go right back to trying to decide come fall. With a side of a dramatic reveal sometime in November.

Hmm, I should be more adventurous on Tumblr. So far, all my tags are Avengers related but even with the people I'm following, I have NEVER seen GG on there.

Also, in the books, it's Chuck who becomes bisexual and this isn't mentioned very much, but he's played by a Brit.

I've just been looking at the GG tag in the last day or so due to entertaining freakouts. :D

And I totally had that backwards about who was bisexual! Whoops!

I'm sure those posts are just terrifying to the writers.

There was a spoiler/spec running around for a while that Chuck would suicide himself in the finale and with the disclaimer that suicide is bad and you shouldn't do it, it was hilarious because it was Chuck. PLUS THAT WOULD SOLVE THAT.

I am sure Chuck is bisexual on the show as well - didn’t we see him kiss a boy at least once?

I just re-watched that episode! Blair got him to kiss some dude so she could give some speech for... reasons. And I think Chuck had a line that was like "please, like I've never kissed a man before." Or something.
