BAH. Boring ep. Regina's on the road to redemption, which is good, but... The biggest thing I was interested in was Snow and Emma, and this ep had practically NOTHING. And the moment we did get something, Snow gets knocked unconscious.

GIVE ME SNOW-EMMA BONDING MOMENTS, DAMN YOU. GIVE.

P.S. Wouldn't Aurora know Snow? Just saying.

Hahaha I am just so in love with Charming storming into Regina's house with his sword that I can almost over look the fact that we didn't see Snow and Emma till the end. And what about Cora!? That was a shock. I half expected her to show up in our world somewhere soon, because of Rumple's saying that the mirror was a portal to a land he had no use of, but he got sent to the broken part of the land? So what does that mean!? And I don't really think Regina's "on the road to redemption" I think it's all an act.

Also, Doctor Whale wanting to hit on the nuns because they are maybe not nuns anymore? Priceless. WHO IS THAT GUY!?!?!?

I sort of figured Cora would turn up, although I did expect it to be in Storybrook, not the fairy tale world.

And the Whale line cracked me up. OH YOU.

I enjoyed Charming so much in this episode that I will forgive the lack of Emma or Snow. I know I can't have every I want in every episode but I liked the things we got in this one. I wanted the backstory on Regina and Rumple and this gives a bit of it. I like that Rumple doesn't know everything and his reaction to finding out about crossing the town limits was great. I did wish there was more Snow and Emma but I found the bits with Charming and Henry kind of adorable.

This episode did kind of constantly bag on David Nolan.

But I want what I want all the time! :D

But really, what was there was lovely for what it was. I was just reeeeally looking forward to Snow-Emma stuff and then was DENIED.

Heh. David. "DAVID SUCKED! BUT I DON'T WANT TO FORGET HIM BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO EVER SUCK AGAIN!" XD

I will never deny the power of sucking. I have personal experience with the motivating power of "I will never suck that much again".

This episode was worth it for me for the fact that they acknowledged that David was kind of a dick (because he was at various points last season and I had difficulties accepting the relationship between him and Mary Margaret because of it).

I'm also extremely charmed by Henry continuing to call Charming 'Gramps' because LOL!

Anything to do with Regina's 'struggles' tends to bore me because, yeah, I think she needs less 'sympathy for her horrible past' and more 'taking responsibility for the shit she's done'. So until she stops the 'Oh woe is me, look what my horrid mother did to me and Snow accidentally caused the death of the man I love and I didn't MEAN to be bad...' whining and starts apologising for her actions, I'm not going to buy a redemption arc for her. If they start on a sob story for Cora, too, then I think I'll be ill.

Mary Margaret doesn't exactly look like Snow White, what with the 'strange clothes' and 'unladylike hair cut' so I'm guessing they can't put two and two together. Also, have they explained how time is relative in Aurora/Mulan's story in comparison to everything else? Because maybe it's more in sync with present time than with the time of Snow and Charming etc.

I think I need someone to draw a time-line map. :|

I was kind of surprised that they acknowledged that David was kind of sucky. I'm glad Charming will be more Charming than David. And the Henry thing with him is cute.

Yeah, it's sort of hard for me to accept Regina's redemption. Yet. She's got a long way to go. Having a horrible mom isn't a get-out-of-jail-free card.

And...the time-frames are starting to confuse me.

Well, Regina's currently looking at the road to redemption, contemplating whether or not it's worth it... but yes.

I am also in the "More Snow and Emma" club!

I think Aurora would know of Snow, but maybe not actually know her. Right? Have they met? Guess we'll find out!

Right now I could watch the 4 women in fairy tale land all the time, tbh. :D

And I have no idea about Aurora and Snow anymore. Aurora's timeline confuses me.

I WISH ALL EPISODES COULD BE REGINA EPISODES! :P

But yeah, I was wondering why Aurora doesn't recognize Snow, as well. TBH when they pushed Snow and Emma in that village and everyone started staring I thought they'll also start bowing and exclaiming OMG IT'S THE PRINCESS or w/e.

And then they just get pushed into a cell. XD

It wasn't the strongest episode, though it's nice seeing Charming with a backbone (as opposed to David who was a wuss). And it was nice to hear him acknowledge that David was still part of him, albiet a weak part.
Regina's redemption was a little disappointing-- I was sure it was a ruse, but it appears they are sort of using a drug analogy to Magic/power (especially with the sniffing thing). So she promises, with good intent, to swear off the stuff but she just has to keep it around. Too obvious for me. And too quick and easy a 'redemption' for her (even though we know it won't last). And I agree that she needs less sympathy and more 'taking responsibility' if she's *really* going to be redeemed.
I actually don't care if she's redeemed. I just want Rumplestiltsken to be redeemed. But not really because he's such an awesome villain. <3

Yeah, I'm glad that Charming is going to revert to his David ways. He'd need an ass kicking then.

And I don't really care much about Regina's redemption either. I mean, I'm not against it or anything and I do like to see her teaming up with the others, but...she just doesn't interest me that much.
