Based on tumblr, the Doctor seems to be getting stupider as time goes on. Remember when he knew things and figured things out before anyone else?
I still have not watched either Downton Abbey or Doctor Who, and I just haven't worked up the energy.
Same goes for Leverage, but I haven't seen that all season. Well, I canceled my cable TV, so it's actual work to watch it now. OK, not much work since they have/had full eps on their website, but I much prefer watching things on my TV than on my computer. I assume one of these days the season will appear on Netflix or Hulu or Amazon Prime.
I wish there was a way to rent movies that are still in the theater. I would really like to watch The Hobbit, but I reeeaaally couldn't handle watching it on the big screen. Too many vertigo issues. But I'd happily pay to watch it at home right now. (I suppose the issue is that they have no control over how many people watch it in homes. You could charge $10 for a first run movie, but it could be one person seeing it or eight.)
Does anyone have any West Wing fic recs? I'm interested in post-S7 fics that would have Josh/Donna (sex not necessary) with Donna being a kick-ass Chief of Staff for the First Lady. Some CJ & Danny in there wouldn't be bad either. (CJ makes everything better.)
Speaking of, was there a fannish consensus as to who Sam was marrying? Someone new? Laurie? Ainsley? (Which is a fav or mine since they could have long verbal battles over muffins.) It can't be Leo's daughter since she's not a lawyer, although that would be a cute relationship.
