It has to all go away.

Chatting with [livejournal.com profile] nandamai is like having free therapy. I must remove all unfinished stories from my computer. This is very stressful as I currently have 16,178 words written in unfinished fics. Yes, I counted. That's how traumatic it is. They must go away for they have subconsciously sucked away my writing self-confidence.

Of course, I also came to the realization that what I really want to do is Executive Produce fics instead of actually write them...

Okay. So here is my writing exercise that I am required to do. Freewrite a character...

So.

You really expect me to open up? Bare my soul? Well, you can forget it. Not gonna happen.

Hellooo?

Gonna say anything? Or just sit there with that ever-so-lovely blank expression?

Okay, this officially bites.

I don't care if I was ordered here. You're gonna need a lot more than a stare to get me to talk.

Still not gonna say anything, huh?

Can I go yet?

You realize we're just wasting time here. I could be doing so many other things. Important things. Working on my backswing for one. But no. I'm here to "talk."

Well, screw that.

I'm the last one, aren't I?

You weaseled your way in here, getting the rest of my team to spill their guts...

Bet you got nothing out of Teal'c though. Good for him.

Carter probably...

She probably...

I don't want to talk about Carter.

Look, what happened, happened, okay? It was no one's fault. Just an accident. A stupid, dumb, senseless...

Did Daniel say something? He did, didn't he? I *bet* you couldn't get him to shut up about it. Probably analyzed everyone nicely. Put everyone in a neat little box wrapped up with a pretty pink bow.

Is something he said why I'm here?

Look. I can't watch everyone 24/7.

It. Was. An. Accident.

Shouldn't have been there in the first place. *Should* have known better.

I can't be everywhere at once.

I should be, but I can't.

It *wasn't* my fault.

It wasn't anyone's fault.

Jonas should have never come with us on that mission.

*

That was weird. Don't know where that came from. Okay, n. What's the next exercise?

But...you did do that one! You told us the ending didn't work. Colorfully. :D

Well, it didn't. :)

And I never did a line by line, though I really meant to. Whoops.

Well, it didn't. :)

Yep. It was quite a spectacular flop. But I guess you can't expect any better when instead of writing an ending, you just stop writing. :D

And I never did a line by line, though I really meant to. Whoops.

Well, we would have never known about that!

Or when you spend an entire fic writing up to one ending and then have to change it ...

Hence the stop writing thing... :D
