I'm in a very weird mood today. I think part of it is my tooth hurts. Ow. And so I'm kinda cranky but not really. So today I'm directing all my annoyance at crossovers. Yes, those WTFF? crossovers. Now you may wuv them and that's fine. But I need something to grouse at today and so it's crossovers. And so to all the SG-1/Harry Potter/Doctor Who and other such fics out there, YOU GET THE PUPPY PIC.

I'm not sure I've ever run across a crossover that's worked for me. But then I've got that whole canonwhore thing going on. Sadness.

Hah, oh, crossovers. I'm currently reading a Harry Potter fic (because wow, you find the worst stuff in that fandom), wherein they have to put on a production of Phantom of the Opera. And one of the few reasons I continue to read it even though it's the longest fic EVER is the fact that Durmstrang has to do The Sound of Music, and I hold out hope that Krum is Maria.

I'm sick that way.

And actually, I'm sick in reality, so maybe my medication is making it enjoyable!

And I just really don't get crossovers. At all. Especially not ones like, "I decided Sam and Scully are just like, the perfect couple and would have sizzling chemistry so I wrote this fic!" Because...wha?
