Ow.

Sore. Tired. And I missed Lost last night. Worth watching? Or can I just read a summary?

I think my favorite thing yesterday was convincing the 5-year-old little boy (who is actually quite timid) to go on Star Tours. We kinda told him that it wasn't a ride, but just a movie. (Yeah, going to hell.) His dad and I sat on either side of him so he could hang onto us with both hands. Halfway through the ride, I could feel his hand getting clammy. We both looked at him as soon as the lights came up with a "well...?" wondering if he was going to need therapy since he was sort of slouched down in his seat.

*stare*

*breathe*

*breathe*

*STARE*

"That. Was. So. Cool."

AWWWWW! And as we were walking out, "That felt like a ride." *cough*

But *lots* of super cute fun moments yesterday and the little girl ended up with way too much princess-related stuff. Spent 12 hours there with no stroller and not once was there ever a "carry me!" moment. Weather was fantastic and we never had to wait more than 10 minutes for anything, including Indiana Jones (no, kids didn't go on that one.) Just perfect!

Awww. Glad you and the tykes had fun! Yay for you and your stroller-less-ness. The last time I went to the Magic Kingdom, it was Stroller HELL. Walking was difficult. And that's the key, really. The children should be able to walk when you take them to Disney for the first time!

Strollers are a nightmare to deal with. Last time we went with the boy (who was then 3) we had a stroller. Half the time you have to leave it somewhere and the other half you're trying to manuver through crowds.

We thought we'd have to rent a stroller in the afternoon to give them a rest, but they plowed through. No meltdowns or anything.

Hmm. I wonder if my friends taped it...

"That. Was. So. Cool."

Hee! How adorable! I love Star Tours, so I'm glad he enjoyed it a lot.

Yeah, me too. :) He really had it worked up in his mind that lots of stuff was "too scary" even the Fantasyland rides. But he really liked it once we dragged him on. :D
