Think I may have a plot for the first sequel. It involves a bit of a mystery and is offworld - we'll see if I can make something of it because it is rather odd. Plus some fuzzy morality going on. But, you know, Doctor Who.
However, I'm pretty sure I've shot myself in the foot as far as sequels. At the end of the AU fic I wind up with a slew of people. Seriously - all they need are arm patches with "TARDIS-1" now. :D (Unless, of course, the betas smack me upside the head and tell me to cut it out.) Why'd I do it? Because it *amuses* me and it's MY world. Heh heh. But wrangling that many characters? I tend to lose people when there are only three in the room. Plus the first plot I'm thinking of, it would center around the Doctor and Rose, which would make the others basically wallpaper. :( Gotta figure something out to fix that since in the 2nd plot I'm thinking of, the Doctor and Rose actually *ditch* the rest of the crew, which does make sense for the plot. But still. The third, however, while still focusing on the Doctor and Rose, does involve everyone, which I'm happy about. Hmmm. Wonder if I should even give myself 30% odds that this will all ever get done?
I suppose I could increase my POVs. In the AU fic, it just flopped back and forth between the Doctor (Ten) and Rose, but may need to do something else for the sequels, otherwise it'll probably always be the Scooby-Doo split up of "you go with Rose and the rest of you come with me" thing.
Or I could start losing people, which I've thought of. But I want to keep everyone! *CLINGS* Yeah, I'd make a really bad Doctor as I'd have at *least* 25 people hanging out on the TARDIS by now.
ETA: "Offworld" HA! You can take the gal out of SG-1, but you can't take SG-1 out of the gal. :D
ETA2: Nuts. Realized on the drive into work (so much fic stuff has been hammered out while driving over the years) that a key aspect for the first plot is *very* similar to the 3rd plot. Like, practically the same. *sigh* *shoves everything into the 3rd plot* Well, back to square one.
OOOOH. I really need to get back to my dream of Executive Producing fics. I need to make someone ELSE do it!

*chuckle* Well, considering how much they've tethered the show to Earth so far, it's enough of an exception to be noteworthy. Might as well call it that as anything else!
