Truthfully? When we first learned about Martha a few months ago, and I thought about all the things she'd get to do with the Doctor that Rose can't anymore, including handholding, I got a little sad, too. But the handholding is just something the Doctor does. He's not going to stop now.

I haven't really thought about DW for a while, to be honest, so I wasn't expecting to be sad. I reckoned I'd moved on, heh.

Never mind, I'm sure Martha will be very worthy of the handholding, I'm looking forward to it.
