• Acquired a Starbucks mug that has an octopus with fangs and an eyepatch. Why? Because it has an *octopus* with *fangs* and an *eyepatch!* Excellent. ETA:
  
  
  
  
• It's now smokey down here, San Diego way. It was quite smokey up in OC this morning when I left, but it *was* clear down here. Looks like the smoke's now made its way to SD from Palm Springs. Unless there are some fires around here too... Bleh.

Oh, yeah. Fires, floods, earthquakes...well, at least we don't get hurricanes and tornadoes. Hurrah!


And I'm sorry! I just...like pumpkin spices! There's cloves and nutmeg and yummy things. Although...I bet it'd be easier to spike an eggnog latte with brandy....hmm..
