And made me think of this. Pretty sure Jojo wrote this parody snip, so I'm not quoting myself. Not.

"So where are we going on our honeymoon?"

"Dunno. How about my cabin?"

"Boring! Oh...crap! Fishing!"

"What about it?"

"Well, we need to get one thing straight. I'll fish with you, but I'm *not* going to fish with you."

"I don't understand."

"I mean, I'll fish," she wiggled her eyebrows suggestively and grinned, "but I won't fish," she frowned deeply and shook her head.

"Still not following."

The....I think third Stargate fic I wrote was about Jack retiring and the first thing Sam said was "Let's go fishing". It's such a great way to have a tiny shout out to the fans...I like it. And I totally giggled. And was very concerned, as Sam was kind of dying at the time.

HEEE! I think *every* S/J author has written a fic where fishing is at least brought up. :D I know I've done one where they get up to his cabin. *snickers*

I did! In mine, they get up to his cabin, and then fall into the lake while making out on the dock. *g*

I haven't watched the show in...a long time...but Sam's password being "fishing" makes me smile a lot.

Have now seen. The line wasn't as squee-inducing as I'd expected. The implication is adorable, but Sam was kind of dying and all and barely able to speak, so there's nothing cute about the exchange itself. Probably not worth a dl if that's all you're interested in.
