How could I know I would have to leave you?

I love live theater. It's just so...organic. Very good for the soul. Saw the musical The Secret Garden tonight (this version), which was outstanding. One of the better performances by this company. Singing was top-notch. Even the two kid actors were amazing. And really good costumes, which made me instantly think of [livejournal.com profile] wiliqueen. Man, the duet of the two brothers singing "Lily's Eyes" - WOW.

If you ever see a company doing that musical, I'd really recommend it. :)

Yes, there is something so special about live theatre and live music. :) It's really like magic. The performers, if they are doing a great job, send vibes out to the audience, who in turn send the good vibes back. In turn, the performers pick up on this and they just get better. It's a lovely cycle! :)

*droooooooooooool*

I love that show beyond the telling of it. Most shimmeringly gorgeous score ever written for a musical, bar none.

Will always be a little bitter at LtoB for denying me Lily, but life goes on...

I'm fairly clueless about Broadway plays (unless they've been around for 50 years), so I didn't even realize it was a musical. But the music was fantastic! Loved it! And so much of it beautifully haunting.

Awwww!
