I watched some of Gilmore Girls, because apparently I am mental and I was bored. I also watched Veronica Mars.

Well, Lorelai and Chris are in the final stretch now. Next episode or two and they'll be filing those divorce papers. *sigh* Well, at the very least Lorelai verbalized what was wrong with her and Luke's relationship - he was distant and uncommunicative. Thank you! Relationships are about more than swooning looks, so I guess it's nice, in a very strange sort of way, that there wasn't this instant happily-ever-after between Luke and Lorelai...right? Yeah, that's weak.

And oh dear God. Rory has a crush on her teacher. Is this trip really necessary? Dear GG writers - love triangles to create drama in relationships is LAZY. Especially since you've got a full-blown triangle already going.



I actually enjoyed watching this episode. Maybe because it had absolutely nothing to do with feminists, fake rapes, birth control or anything of the like. I missed it last week, but didn't Logan break up with Veronica? Why's he padding around in a robe and refusing to shower? I think I remember reading he slept with someone, but...again, didn't he break up with Veronica?

I'm sure some thought that little girl, the song and the elevator were embarrassingly horrible, but I laughed. Probably because it was just so bad. Although I've heard that TPTB do *not* like Logan/Veronica and have even gotten irked that there are Logan/Veronica shippers? Am I making this up? Thought I read that somewhere. If true, I kinda hope that the 11-year-old wasn't supposed to represent that section of fandom with the playing of the love song and the "just get back together! tell her!", because that's rather rude. Besides, sekrit messages in shows to the fans don't work. Just ask the Supernatural folks, apparently.

But Veronica *has* to see that this son of the coach is...off. I refuse to believe she didn't pick up on the non-verbal stuff that I'm sure all of the audience saw. Unless this is yet another red herring. But sooner or later the killer *has* to be the most obvious person. The odds!

I've already lost interest in the search for the Dean's killer. I think Keith and Veronica had as well, and so instant reference letter! Now it's *personal.* Heh.

You know, I kinda feel like I have to give the GG writers some credit for making Lorelai and Christopher go through an actual divorce rather than some cutesy "Hey, our marriage in Paris isn't legally binding and I don't want to be married to you anymore!" scenario. And there was something sweet about Lorelai's admission that Christopher's the guy she wants to love but doesn't. (Hearts can be so fickle like that!)

Rory's whole idiotic crush thing was dumb. And man, Rory doesn't deserve a friend like Paris AT ALL. (She hid books for Rory! Awwww. Although, wouldn't it have been smarter and cheaper to hid *used* books that just didn't have any writing in them than brand new books?)

I might have cooed a few times at Paw-Paw. :)

Oh, also didn't watch VM. Flipped to it once then actually said out loud, "What am I doing? I don't care about this show anymore." And, sadly, I really don't.

Heh. It was pretty good last night. I mean, I'm not saying you should go run out and watch it, but it was better than some of the other stuff this season.
