Friend has worse plague than me, so I'm hiding at home. No construction right now and I'm not seeing anyone around. Maybe today is their day off or something. *crosses fingers*
Can you call the complex management and ask them to send the crew somewhere else today? Or maybe you should just check into a hotel and have room service bring you soup all day! ;)

I thought about that, but it seems like they're *almost* done. They just need to install my sink and dishwasher. As much as I hope they don't come today, if they do, I'd rather have them just finish so it can be done with so I can have my place back to normal.
I was going to suggest what n did (the Brain at work, man!) but see your point about wanting them just to be done. Perhaps leave a note on your door letting them you're actually home so they'll knock or something before entering? This way they hopefully won't freak you out when entering and vice versa. *arms-length hug*
