The Good: poohmusings is planning on coming down here around Halloweenish time! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! Hopefully it won't be 100 degrees.

The Bad: New DW thing that will just have anti-Rose people hating her even MORE.

The Amusing: 1) Using manticoran as my DW shield, and 2) deciding that the Monty Python boys in drag really need to be the Doctor's next companions.

Okay, so you aren't going to know this, but why doesn't Netflix have season 2 of DW? I SEE it on the shelves at various stores so I KNOW it's out, and yet Netflix is a big fat ZERO. WTF?

When the S2 DVD's came out, Netflix had a contaminated batch. Like, halfway through New Earth it turned into Chainsaw Massacre bad. Wierdly, Netflix was the only distributor to have this problem Netflix pulled their S2 DVD's, and the state of their DVD's has been in limbo ever since. They have everything but the second season.

AH! Thank you! I was so confused, because I'd had disk 1 of S2 at the top of my queue, and then it suddenly disappeared from my 'available' list and went to the 'saved' list. I was SO looking forward to it too. Blast!

Well, hopefully they get it all worked out soon. :)

I'm not sure they plan on renting them out any time in the near future. I'd recommend finding the episodes through other means, or rental places.

It's because they have deals with the manufacturers to get Their Very Own Special Pressings. (Some of them have the Netflix logo printed right on the disk and everything.) Among other things, that way they don't have to pay for all that packaging they would just throw away. And they buy in enough bulk that it's worth it for the manufacturers.
