I think my journey to the dark side of Who nerdness is complete, as I pointed and yelled "TOM BAKER!" at my TV while watching the "Potato" episode of Blackadder II. Forgot how funny this show was.

"It is said, Percy, that the civilized man seeks out good and intelligent company so that by learned discourse he may rise above the savage and closer to God."

"Yes, I'd heard that."

"Personally, however, I like to start the day with a total dickhead to remind me I'm best."

Yes! Blackadder! The second series was by far my favourite. Anytime I watch any movie/show about Queen Elizabeth I, a small part of my brain thinks of Miranda Richardson saying "Well Edmund, nothing much has happened, other than my nose getting a little prettier..."

My favourite was the episode where Hugh Laurie was holding Blackadder and Melcher hostage. And the Queen decided to spend the ransom money on a "great big party. Hope you're not too miffed, byeeeeeee" I may have to go put that on now.

HA!! It's been *so* long since I've watched all of these - I just had I and II on DVD and am getting III and IV this week. But I seem to remember I liked II the best as well, just because Blackadder's such a sarcastic bastard in this one. It's hysterical.

SO funny. And Hugh Laurie does the different voices along with the whole, "yes, I was that sheep!" *SNORTS*

I may need a Blackadder icon.

"You?! Big Sally?!"
"Such a dissapointment for a girl!" hahahaha!

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

And that whole pantomime just to get to something like "you're a bastard son of a bitch." :D

Also, sadness. I went on a Blackadder icon hunt and couldn't find really much. Woe.

The first time i watched Blackadder was when i was staying with my cousin in Scotland 2 years ago....we would stay up all night having marathons....the second series has a special place in my heart ^_^
