Ever been to Disneyland (Disneyland = California, Disney World = Florida) and gone to Tom Sawyer's Island? Well, Tom Sawyer's Island is no more. Sorta. It's been completely rethemed permanently to tie into the PotC ride across the river.

I was a whipper snapper when I went to DL in CA. That is kind of sad that they are revamping it.

I never liked Tom Sawyer's island, but I'm sad it's gone. All these kids with their newfangled ideas of fun ... ;)

Last time I was over there was...last spring with the kiddies. There wasn't too much over there but it's always a great place to let them run free and wear them out.

I haven't been to DL in a looong time so I don't really remember the original Island. This version isn't too impressive-looking, though. Maybe it looks better when it's not so sunny. Pirates and bright sunshine don't mix so well ;)

Mwah! Well, it's a bit dressed up from the prior version, so would you'd probably not have been impressed with that. Basically it was a place with trees and rocks for kids to run around on before.
