Dinner!Crack
I've become sort of really amused at this dinner party idea. If you've read some of my S3 spoiler posts, you'll know what I'm talking about. No there are no actual dinner parties in S3 - this is just the result of the insanity that is Finale Week.
A few lines. And not even crack!fic, as it's that lazy transcript style.
Doctor: Ooh, this is just so many levels of wrong.
Rose: Rethinking the bottle of Cold Duck?
Doctor: Oh, ha ha.
Rose: 'Don't let me back out of this, Rose,' you said. 'I need to bond with the only other Time Lord in existence,' you said.
Doctor: You know, there was a time when he actually twirled a mustache. He had a mustache and he twirled it. Couple of faces had mustaches. It was like a...thing, or something. If he so much as looks at you funny...
Rose: I know, I know. Knee him in the balls. You've told me about six times.
Doctor: Quite right! And, you know, feel free if the general urge strikes as well.
Rose: Yeah, because that's normally what I do when meeting someone for the first time. What's Lucy like?
Doctor: Psychotic. Take Casandra and add a dash of your mother.
Rose: I can take her.
Doctor: Oh, here's a thought - you might wind up with your very own archenemy! And think of the time-saver it would be to have both our archenemies in one place! Probably. I suppose they don't go everywhere together. Do they? Probably not.
Rose: So you've got an archenemy called 'the Master' and I get one called...'Lucy.'
Doctor: Problem?
Rose: No. I guess everyone has to start somewhere.
