(Actually, I spent the evening watching more Carnivale episodes. I can't believe I'm nearly done with the show. Really, REALLY have liked watching it so far. I've seen comments about people wanting it to go on, and maybe it doesn't end resolutely, but it's really a show that *needs* to end. It's definitely telling a story that has a beginning, middle and end. Hmm. I may queue up Rome next.)

Luckily I had a long work meeting and then did some grocery shopping after work so I wasn't too inconvenienced, but I do admit to hugging my laptop and getting a bit weepy when it came back up. LJ is crack and I am apparently a big crackwhore.

Oh, that's good to hear. I've had Carnivale on my netflix queue for ages...sounds like I need to move it to the top. And Rome's great...it's like a softcore porn historical soap opera...completely awesome.

I spent the blackout reading the new Harry Potter book. I'm so sure that constitutes having a life. Especially since every other chapter I was all, "Is LJ working? I wanna talk about this! Is it working yet? How 'bout now? Now?"
