Hmmmm.
So I'm off work today. \o/ Have done laundry and have traveled to the *good* produce market, which is down the freeway. (I'm going to attempt a fresh corn salad that I'm making up, based on one I had for lunch the other day. Will post recipe in recipe community if it's good.)
I'd been thinking about going to the movies this afternoon, and maybe seeing Harry Potter. But then I noticed that the Simpsons movie is actually getting pretty good reviews. Have to say I'm a bit surprised. I mean, I really like the Simpsons and all, but you know how it goes when a TV show hits the big screen - it can be iffy. I wasn't even planning on seeing it, due to the presumed iffy.
So...hmm. Of course, I could see one today and one tomorrow...

I can't comment on the Simpsons, as I've never watched the TV show - I know, I'm weird. :-) But of course you know that I think the HP movie was great.

It is CHUCKFULL of SQUEE in all of its most basic forms! Trust me, it will make you smile. A LOT.
Unless your soul is dead. And then it might give you a mild headache.no subject

I saw the first movie, but didn't fall in love with it or anything. I can't even remember if I saw the second.

I may do HP today. Haven't decided yet.

Springfield, Vermont won some sort of online competition to be the actual residence of the Simpsons, which is kind of neat since MY PARENTS LIVE IN VERMONT AND THAT IS WHERE I CURRENTLY LIVE.
I mean, I'm far away from Springfield, but nothing cool ever happens in this state, so this was big news.
Point is, if you went to see the Simpsons, it would be like we were connected. Sort of. Well, maybe a little. Okay, not really.
*wanders away mumbling to herself*

I'm thinking about going to the Kwit-E-Mart (sp?) first over in Burbank (the closest one here) like right before the movie but again depends on many factors one of which is whether or not I could deal with another long line... *has HP book release flashbacks*
Anyway, have fun deciding!

I hope you like both movies, but HP manages to win in my regard. :)

Best way to avoid a conflict.
