Is it the weekend yet?

It's getting towards fall, and so I'm getting the urge to go to Disneyland again. Summertime is pretty much off-limits for me. Heat + crowds = hell on earth. The only time I've broken down and gone during the summer was on the day of its 50th birthday.

I'm kinda craving a giant corn dog again. The kind you get at DCA. The kind as big as

poohmusings' head. Also, haven't been on the new Finding Nemo ride yet.

Wonder if they've got a new plastic coffee mug design going now. I have a tendency to pick one of those up when I leave the park - coffee for the ride home. But the latest "[something] of Dreams" was a lame design. Hopefully they'll switch out for Halloween/fall.

Can't wait to see the pumpkin decorations again. I think I like those decorations better than the Christmas decorations (which were starting to look a bit sad last year, and need to be replaced.) Wonder if the pumpkins will appear after Labor Day. Well, as soon as it cools down a bit, I might need to go investigate.

You know, one of these days I should really try Blue Bayou (the restaurant in the PotC ride.) I always wind up at the Wine Country Trattoria in DCA though, which

nandamai and I discovered a few years back. (During the trip of the infamous

elismor of $20.) I really like the food they have there (plus wine with the meal), but I suppose I should do Blue Bayou once, just to say I've done it.

RTD says DT's staying for all of S4

I also heard a rumor that RTD might possibly be backpedaling on the Jack = Face of Boe thing, but haven't seen an actual source on that. Don't be Jossing mah fic, you plot-hole loving nutter!

Well, getting Jossed isn't something that reflects on any special ability of Joss's. It just meant that the story took a turn that made your fic AU, like really AU. But RTD, it's like he has some special kind of keyboard that turns whatever he writes into utter crack. He really is in a league of his own, as you said.

The Blue Bayou was actually pretty good. The spaghetti was amazing. Mom, Sister and I went last time we were in Disneyland (sadly enough, 1996). I remember that up until Mom told us we were eating there, I had always thought that it was a bunch of animatronic robots and not a real restaurant. Hey, I'd been there only once before when I was 4/5. GIVE ME A BREAK.

It could be. Probably RTD finally *looked* at a picture of Boe and realized that he had tentacles and such and so perhaps maybe it didn't make as much sense as he once thought... :D

But I love the Face of Boe thing! It totally broke my brain the first time I watched it (I watched the finale arc straight when I got home from Jordan, so by the end I was all "OVERLOAD *criz*").

Fortunately, I don't really care one way or another about this show (it's just too damn tiring!), so it's all good.

I have a friend who is watching (unspoiled) the finale arc right now and she just finished 3.11 and was all "OMG, FACE OF BOE PROPEHCY" and I am all "WILL YOU JUST WATCH THE OTHER TWO!" because she keeps talking and...I can't spoil her.
