And what I've learned in today's episode...

Robin Hood is a sanctimonious git.

Booooooooooo.

However, I've also learned that when the Merry Men tie him to a tree and Little John knocks him out more than once, those things are EXCELLENT.

Uuuuuuuugh. And I hate that when Robin is busy being an evil little...berk...and Marian is actually trying to be a good person, we're still supposed to hate Guy because he'll think of Robin when he's gettin' in Marian's pants (literal pants).

...

But if I were Guy? I'd say whatever I could to break the little asshole's brain.

Gah. Gah gah gah.

Okay, reading your recaps, I'll I can think is that I CAN'T REMEMBER THESE EPISODES AT ALL. WHY?

You still make me laugh, though. :D

They keep trying to turn Guy into this mustache-twirling bad guy, and it keeps FAILING.

But if I were Guy? I'd say whatever I could to break the little asshole's brain.

Totally.

Gah. Gah gah gah.

Right there with you after this episode. The prick.

This is what happens of casting a good actor in an otherwise mediocre - poor quality show. Poor Richard Armitage.

He really, really does not get any better. In fact, if I'm not totally incorrect, he gets much worse the next few. Stupid Marian trying to look on the brightside of her life!

Because they're all basically the same plot? :D

*snickers*

Wow. I AM tired. I can't even tell the difference between "all" and "I'll." (I mean, I make typos all the time, but that's just embarrassing.)

I knew there was a reason! Between you and [Bad username or site: ninamazing / @ livejournal.com] always posting about it, I should probably think about re-watching.

At least he seems to be getting a kick out of it.

Oh Lord.

Promise me that when you get drunk you'll LJ. Promise me.

I knew there was a reason! Between you and ninamazing always posting about it, I should probably think about re-watching.

But WHY? Oooh. Drunken Robin Hood watching AND LJ posting!

(Heh. I typed out Robin Who first. I WIN AT DORK.)

HA! I came on LJ for about ten minutes early this evening when I was kind of drunk, but it just seemed to make everything about ten times funnier than usual. WEIRD THAT.

But WHY? Oooh. Drunken Robin Hood watching AND LJ posting!

I'm considering getting really drunk before watching anymore Classic Who, actually! I feel like this might improve things.

The second series is coming up, right?! Clearly I must prepare myself by watching the sparkly crack of the first series again!

Buha!

It would have been WAY funnier if you'd posted something. Or licked someone. HMPH.

Oh! Watch Six while drunk! Makes it downright awesome. :D

I have no idea.

You mean it was a good thing I gave up watching after episode 3, months ago? My problem with this Robin Hood is that in all previous versions (even Prince of Thieves at the time; I was young), I've liked Robin. This one? I don't like Robin. This does not predispose me to want to watch the show, despite the awesomeness of Richard Armitage. Although I had no idea who he was at the time, but I have since seen the North & South miniseries and can fully appreciate him now.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2007-09-02 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
Oh man, Robin in this episode? A complete dick. And the worst part about it was that they tried to erase everything in the last 5 seconds by having Robin being all, "well, maybe I shouldn't have done this instead..." YA THINK??

And Marian spent her time telling him to grow up (her exact words) while he sulked by a tree. I refuse to believe we're supposed to actually like Robin.

...

He looks exactly like a sulky little boy. Are we supposed to find this attractive? Please, Sir Guy, ravish Marian all you like, and maybe you'll convince her to give up on the twit.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2007-09-02 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
Sadly Marian keeps finding *something* attractive about Robin. They haven't clued us in yet what exactly that something is, though.
