You know what I can't stand? Multi-fandom icon posts. THERE. I said it. SOME are okay, but it's stuff like:

1,000 icons:

5 Heroes
5 Doctor Who
5 Torchwood
5 Stargate Atlantis
Etc etc etc.

Are you INSANE? There's no way I'm going to page load a bazillion icons just to see a handful of the ones I'm actually looking for. BAH! I really don't care if they're the prettiest icons in all the land. It's not worth it.

OMG, I KNOW. I completely skip the ones that have so little pay off. Especially when the ratio is even worse, when it's like 5 Doctor Who, 25 Supernatural, 14 SGA. Is it that much effort to break it up, icon makers? Jeesh.

In my defense, if the fics are under 500 words, I assume it's better to shove them in one post under cuts than spam with multiple posts. I'm always paranoid about spamming people. *hides*

Some multi-icon posts? Okay. I appreciate it when the poster separates everything into individual tables - I can scroll past them all to find what I need. But those multi-fandom posts where every icon is crammed together? Ugh, no I'll pass.

Hence why I tend to keep icons for years - not worth the hassle to find new ones if I have to wade through a bazillion icons just to find the two from the fandom I want.

I even get a bit twitchy when they're separated into tables if there's way too much shoved into one post. I hate having to sit there while all the graphics load.

And I tend to keep icons for a loooong time as well. I have one from 2003 that I made (which has been deleted and re-uploaded since.) *uses*

I love (read hate) when I actually do plow through a gazillion pics of shows I don't know, only to find that the icons I want to see are actually 5 of the same picture with different background colors.

Then again, being someone that has to rely on the kindness of talented strangers to even have icons...I should shut up and simply say a big thank you to everyone that posts them!

I'll go sit in the time-out corner now for being selfish and ungrateful.
