This is a highly speculative poll of speculation for the DW finale. Very important. Very.

We all know that RTD LOVES shiny things, especially in his finales. I submit the following examples:

So the question isn't if there will be shiny in the finale, it's who will be the shiniest. This isn't asking who will save the universe, but WHO WILL GLOW THE MOST.

Rose. (Bad Wolf 2: This Time It's Personal)

BWAHAHA! I'm tied between glowy!doctor and goddess!rose myself, but your description was too hard to pass up ^^

Personally, I think it'll be everyone. ~~EVERYONE WILL ASCEND.~~ Possibly at the same time.

(Because they need to get the Ancients' attention somehow, but the old and all powerful ~~Time Lords~~ robéd beings can't be pained to disintegrate Davros/Dalek Caan/the Supreme Dalek into its component atoms.

And then the TARDIS will give up and ~~steal the Key to reassemble the Key to Time~~ snap her fingers.)

I assume RTD will want to go out with a bang, after all. It's a matter of who won't be shiny.

End of S2, the ep that must not be named, had the big shiny wall of DOOM too. Really big. Really glowy. Really doom-ing.

You know you've just made me come up with the crack theory that Wilf is a fobwatched Time Lord.

Donna already pwns all of DW. I mean, Rose is pretty badass with her big gun and pseudo-Martha jacket but Donna is THE badass of new Who. You don't mess with Donna.

(She'll end up being the S4 person of glowiness but I voted for Wilf because a girl can hope.)

I, for one, wouldn't object to seeing Mickey shirtless again. Betcha Captain Jack wouldn't mind, either. In fact, I'm betting on a line that mirrors one once said by Faith to Wesley on Angel--"Mickey. You're looking . . . good?"

Ticky box!!!! The Doctor, Rose, Donna or TARDIS.

Out of those four I'd think Donna because there's still something else that we have yet to learn about her. Thanks Rusty and crew.

Although I do want to see some Bad Wolf kick-ass stuff cause it's Bad Wolf so the TARDIS would also be involved!

And while the Doctor already has a head start it's probably not the glow-y that he would have wanted. ^_^"

It might be because I'm currently squished under a giant anvil, but I'm going to have to go with Donna. Though I suppose there was quite a lot of shining from the Doctor at the end of TSE. Donna's glowing is going to have to be pretty epic to outdo that. I *totally* have faith in RTD, however. *nods*

*laughter* I have to admit, much as Dalek Kahn scared me, your, "oooh, sparkly nuclear core! Wheeeee!" nearly made me spew my tea. XD

I say toss up between Doc and Rose. Or both. :3 Wouldn't it be cute if they BOTH went shiney in the name of deus ex?

Though... the TARDIS actually going, "oh geez, here we go again..." and pulling her own stunt to make the Daleks and Davros go away is also highly appealing. : D

Thank goodness I read that in the comfort of my own home. 'Cause that made me laugh really hard.

In the end I voted for Donna though. I think she is really gonna shine this finale. Literally and figuratively. ;-)

Btw, I just realized this icon is the only one I have with Donna, and I love Donna. This must be rectified.

I must say that this poll has srlsy made me wish for some OMGIMETTHEDOCTORINAPASTLIFE!Gwen and randomlythere!Master in the finale.

I've always been rather sure that Nine didn't suck all the Vortex stuff or what ever it was out of Rose with that kiss! That some Bad Wolf was still there--I mean, look at that reference by the Werewolf in Tooth and Claw. And Rose remembers some stuff in Doomsday. I tried last year to write a fic about this but RL got in the way. If Bad Wolf doesn't save the day, either Donna or the TARDIS will.
